May
16, 2014 – It was the day that would rewrite the fate of the Nation.
It
was the legendary win for BJP which emerged as the single largest non Congress
party in the subcontinent. NDA alliance
won more than 300 seats way higher than what the people had estimated. On the
other hand, congress recorded its lowest in the election history. AAP won four
seats in Punjab after all the ruckus the party
had created. Our own Nandan Nilekeni and V.Balakrishnan did not stand a chance
against the Modi Wave.
The
election results reflect the mind set of millions of unhappy citizens who yearned
for change from the malverised government and condescending leadership. It’s
the longing for the development and the vision of better India that won
in the end. NaMo, as he is fondly called, who is set to become the 14th Prime
Minister for the Independent Nation has lot of hopes riding on him. The
development model which was projected as the main goal of his manifesto
attracted not only the educated and the urban but also the illiterate and the
rural. With his commanding presence and the palpable dreams for the country he
was able to reach the millions who voted for him and gave him the
responsibility of the emerging yet powerful economy. This is the kind of trust
not to be taken lightly. The belief which he had mothered, the hope which he
had ignited when it was thought lost, has the tendency to multiply and has the
power to replicate.
As
a wise man he is and a wise man he is believed to be, we are hoping he is the
one India
deserves.
Good
luck Modi ji on your new Journey!!!
